Genworth in Richmond, VA is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team. You will oversee LTC models, data flows, and controls to ensure compliance with standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen governance.

The role requires senior actuarial experience, strong analytical skills, and ability to drive documentation and process improvements. Remote US options within Eastern/Central Time are available, with in-office Richmond opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or a related field.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, LTC preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of valuation, projections and experience analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LTC control environment and ensure design consistency across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues and controls.
• Develop clear model and process documentation for transparency.
• Provide governance peer review for LTC models and processes.
• Expand governance oversight to new teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and governance guidance.
