Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct care in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will assess residents, administer medications, and support care plans, while guiding care associates.

This on-site role offers shift differentials for evenings and nights and a comprehensive benefits package. Maryland LPN license and CPR are required; one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical status in the EMR and notify the provider when necessary.
• Update care plans as needed to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
• Review clinical indicators such as falls, wounds, nutrition, and antipsychotic use.
