Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will document resident data, administer medications, and support a resident-first approach with a caring team.

The role requires Maryland LPN licensure, CPR, and at least 1 year of relevant experience; EMR experience is preferred. A strong commitment to seniors and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Passion for caring for seniors and strong resident advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe and document residents' condition in the EMR and notify provider as needed.
• Update care plans to reflect changes in needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties professionally.
• Contribute to reviews of clinical indicators such as falls or nutrition.
