Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, Maryland, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will develop care plans, document findings in the EMR, and ensure nursing standards are met for resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong resident advocacy and passion for senior care.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families placing the resident first.
• Assess and document residents' clinical conditions in the EMR and notify the provider when needed.
• Update care plans as resident needs change.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents and families professionally.
• Support reviews of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, etc.).
