Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, Maryland is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will deliver direct clinical services, follow nursing standards, and work closely with residents, families, and the care team.

You will assess residents, update care plans, administer medications, and supervise care associates while supporting the health, well-being, and dignity of our seniors.

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Passion for caring for seniors and resident advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, prioritizing resident-first care.
• Assess and document residents' clinical condition in the EMR, notify provider as needed.
• Update care plans as conditions change.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Participate in resident outcomes meetings and care reviews.
• Respond to residents and families professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to reviews of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use).
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.
