Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings in Silver Spring, MD. You will contribute to health, well-being, and quality of life, adhere to nursing standards, and collaborate with the RN and provider.

You will administer medications, update care plans, supervise care associates, and participate in resident outcome meetings.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland
• CPR certification required
• 1+ year experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical condition in the EMR
• Update care plans to reflect changes in resident needs
• Supervise and lead care associates
• Administer medications timely and accurately
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Respond to residents and families professionally
• Support clinical indicator reviews (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use)
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader
