Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will deliver nursing services in accordance with standards, state regulations, and Erickson policies.

You will assess residents, update care plans, supervise care associates, administer medications, document in the EMR, and collaborate with the RN and providers.

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license or compact state license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and evaluate residents’ clinical condition; document in EMR.
• Update or modify care plans as needs change.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties in a timely, professional manner.
• Participate in review of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use).
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.
