Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings.

You will document care in the electronic medical record, update care plans as needs change, supervise aides, and participate in resident care meetings. Md LPN licensure and CPR are required; prior LTC/home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse licensure is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Passion for senior care and strong resident advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical conditions; notify provider when needed.
• Update care plans to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications accurately and timely as ordered.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents and families promptly and professionally.
• Contribute to reviews of clinical indicators such as falls, wounds, and nutrition.
