Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant Server to provide guest service at the Lounge during assigned shifts. You will set stations, greet guests, and maintain a clean dining area while delivering food and beverages with accurate orders.

The role requires prior food and beverage serving experience in a full-service setting, familiarity with POS systems, and a friendly, proactive demeanor to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-service restaurant or lounge serving.
• Experience with computerized point of sale systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of hotel food and beverage sanitation, portion control, storage and handling.
• Willingness to interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner throughout the shift.
• Willingness to assist in all areas of the Food & Beverage department.
• Physical ability to perform the functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Set assigned stations according to service design and prepare before serving period.
• Keep stations stocked and clean during service (china, glass, silverware, food and beverage).
• Greet guests within designated time frame.
• Bus tables, clear, clean and reset for next guests.
• Suggestive selling for all food and beverage orders.
• Enter orders accurately into POS system and handle billing (room charge, cash, or card).
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age before serving alcohol.
• Follow TIPS procedures for guest alcohol consumption.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus and service areas during service.
• Complete opening and closing side duties.
• Adhere to hotel food sanitation policies and safety standards.
• Report any food/beverage issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned within Food & Beverage or other hotel departments.
