Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group’s Lounge Server role in the Tamo Bar and Lounge focuses on creating a calm, welcoming experience for guests. You will warmly greet guests, take orders, enter them into the POS, and assist with seating while suggesting food and beverage pairings.

This position requires a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with regular weekend availability; the hotel operates 24/7, and participation in trainings is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work full-time, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to standards related to Fire Life Safety and Foodborne Illness Prevention.
• Ability to serve food and beverages with awareness of food allergies and guest dietary needs.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to remain focused in high-volume environments.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and engage in proactive, friendly communication while providing food and beverage service.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Stock service stations with items like ice, napkins, glassware, and straws.
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Refill beverages, clear plates, and reset tables quickly and neatly.
• Balance and reconcile shift income per policy.
