Job summary

Loews Coral Gables Hotel is hiring a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional table service, greet guests, and support the dining room during peak hours.

In this role you will take orders, check back with guests, and collaborate with the kitchen and bar to ensure quality and presentation. The position requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
