Job summary

Choice Hotels International seeks an Area Director, Franchise Performance, Core Brands to drive commercial performance for a portfolio of midscale and upper midscale franchised hotels. You will advise owners/operators, use data to identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, and Distribution teams.

Note: Candidates must reside in Louisiana; relocation assistance is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in hotel commercial strategy and revenue performance.
• Strong analytical and consulting capabilities with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic commercial advisor to owners/operators; identify revenue opportunities.
• Conduct property visits and business reviews linking revenue strategy to growth.
• Influence adoption of commercial priorities with clear accountability.
• Evaluate market demand, pricing, distribution, and sales performance.
• Develop action-oriented recommendations to improve profitability and market share.
