Job summary

Choice Hotels is seeking an Area Director, Franchise Performance for Core Brands to drive commercial performance across a portfolio of midscale properties, partnering with owners, operators, and management companies to translate data into revenue growth.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand and Operations to improve RevPAR, ADR, occupancy and owner profitability while strengthening franchise relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive hotel industry experience with significant responsibility for commercial strategy, revenue performance, sales, marketing, revenue management, or multi-property performance improvement.
• 10+ years of hotel leadership experience, preferably including franchise performance, revenue management, commercial leadership, or multi-unit operational responsibility.
• Proven ability to influence business decisions through analytical insights and strategic consultation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic commercial advisor to owners and operators using portfolio and market data to identify revenue opportunities and performance improvements.
• Drive improvement in RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, market share, and profitability for the portfolio and individual hotels.
• Coordinate support from Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand, and Operations to maximize commercial results.
