Job summary

Choice Hotels International is seeking a Director for Franchise Performance & Activation, Core Performance. Lead Area Managers and the HERO team to drive hotel performance, strengthen franchisee engagement, and activate commercial priorities across the Core portfolio.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in hotel operations, franchise performance, owner relations, revenue, commercial ops, or hospitality leadership preferred.
• Prior leadership experience managing people leaders or field-based teams strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and talent development.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, franchisee support, brand programs, and commercial drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area Managers and HERO team to improve hotel performance and franchisee relationships.
• Set priorities and expectations aligning with Core Performance objectives.
• Provide performance feedback and development support to direct reports.
• Ensure HERO Manager leads the HERO team addressing franchisee needs and program activation.
• Coordinate hotel action plans and cross-functional escalation for complex issues.
• Participate in Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and service delivery improvements.
