Job summary

Sysco is seeking a dedicated tractor-trailer driver to safely transport products from our warehouse to customer locations across multiple states, including long-haul trips. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, adherence to DOT guidelines, and the ability to complete all required logs and inspections.

You will operate a tractor-trailer and possibly a 45–48 ft trailer, with duties including loading/unloading, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining food safety temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school is acceptable.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations on assigned routes.
• Completes paperwork per DOT logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintains proper food safety protocols and temperature controls.
• Communicates deviations to management and safeguards route integrity.
• Works schedule and may require overnight trips and weekends.
