Job summary

Sysco is seeking a professional Truck Driver to safely transport product from the warehouse to customer locations in a long-haul setting. The role requires operating a tractor-trailer, maintaining DOT compliance, and delivering on schedule.

The long-haul assignment may require overnight travel to PA, FL, OH and other states, with 2-3 days per trip. A valid Class A CDL and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent required, plus 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted in lieu of high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations per route and loads/unloads as required.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintains food safety protocols and follows safety policies; reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintains and operates equipment and communicates with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Works flexible hours, including overnight, to meet customer needs and schedule requirements.
