Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school accepted.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Insurable to operate a vehicle per requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat guidelines; safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Ability to drive long distances and communicate with customers; stay alert.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer as per route and timelines.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintains food safety protocols and proper temperatures.
• Follows safe work methods and reports unsafe conditions.
• Operates equipment including tractor-trailer, pallets, and carts.
• Builds good customer relations through courteous service.
• Communicates route or loading issues to management.
• Works assigned schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
