Job summary

Sysco is seeking a long-haul driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, following company standards and routes.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience; overnight travel to multiple states is common, with 2–3 days out at a time. You will help ensure accurate paperwork and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL; must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines.
• Ability to drive long distances and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer on route; loads/unloads as needed.
• Complete paperwork per DOT logs and company guidelines; ensure invoices match.
• Maintain food safety standards and proper temperatures.
• Build relationships with customers and follow routes; communicate issues.
• Work assigned schedule; overtime/overnight as needed.
