Job summary

Sysco is seeking a long-haul driver to transport food products from the warehouse to customer locations across multiple states, including PA, FL, and OH. The role requires operating a tractor-trailer with a focus on safety, accuracy of deliveries, and adherence to DOT regulations.

The position involves overnight travel, occasional weekends, and staying out 2–3 days as needed to meet customer demands. A Class A CDL and relevant driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Experience with long-haul trucking and diverse routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer locations on assigned routes.
• Completes all required DOT logs and inspection reports accurately.
• Maintains proper food safety and temperature protocols during delivery.
• Communicates route changes and delivery issues to management.
• Operates equipment and maintains housekeeping of vehicle.
• Builds good customer relationships through professional service.
• Adheres to schedules and works overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
