Job summary

Sysco is seeking a professional truck driver to transport product from the warehouse to customer locations across multiple states. The role involves long-haul trips, adherence to safety, and maintaining communication with the management team.

Eligible drivers will operate 3-axle tractors with 45'–48' trailers, complete required paperwork, and uphold food safety standards on every delivery. An incentive plan may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required; 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or with diploma.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer location per route; loads/unloads per customer specifications.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Ensures food safety protocols and proper temperatures during transport.
• Follows safe work methods and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintains and safely operates assigned equipment; communicates with customers clearly.
• Works assigned schedule and may work outside normal hours to meet customer needs.
