Sysco is seeking a driver to safely transport goods from warehouses to customer locations, operating tractor-trailers on long-haul routes that may run 2–3 days away from home. You will follow company standards, maintain DOT compliance, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure timely deliveries.

Located for long-haul routes to PA, FL, OH and other states, this role requires a Class A CDL, good health, and the ability to handle varied schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required and must be insurable to operate a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures timely delivery.
• Completes all required DOT logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and on time.
• Maintains proper food safety temperatures during transport and delivery.
• Communicates any route or loading deviations to management.
• Operates equipment and maintains good relationships with customers while ensuring safety.
