Sysco is seeking a driver to transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, operating tractor-trailers on long-haul routes. The role includes loading/unloading, maintaining safe practices, and ensuring accurate paperwork and timely deliveries.

Overnight schedules and travel to multiple states are common. Prerequisites include a Class A CDL, high school diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of tractor-trailer experience or completion of a driving school.

Qualificações

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures the product is delivered on a timely basis, according to assigned route.
• Loads and unloads product according to customer specifications.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g. DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports) and that invoices/bill of ladings match.
• Maintains food safety protocols and proper temperatures in the delivery vehicle.
• Develops and maintains good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Communicates with management regarding route, trailer, loading issues, or customer/product concerns.
• Works assigned schedule, may work outside usual hours to meet customer needs; maintains regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
