Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Logistics/Warehouse Lead to support the Warehouse/Logistics Manager in coordinating equipment, materials, and logistics for large restoration and reconstruction projects. This on-site role involves travel to project sites, staging and transporting equipment, and assisting with daily warehouse operations while growing into greater responsibilities.

Ideal candidates are entry-level with a strong willingness to learn, possess basic mechanical aptitude, and are able to operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level role; limited experience okay, eagerness to learn essential.
• Interest in logistics, warehousing, equipment, or trades.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; handling equipment and generators a plus.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse/Logistics Manager in planning and coordinating logistics for large projects.
• Travel to project sites locally and out of area to support mobilization, setup, staging, and demobilization.
• Load, transport, stage, and track equipment, generators, and materials to and from jobsites.
• Set up, fuel, and monitor generators and temporary power distribution at project sites.
• Learn logistics and warehouse processes under the direction of the Warehouse/Logistics Manager.

TheLogistics/WarehouseLeadsupportstheWarehouse/LogisticsManagerincoordinatingequipment,materials,andlogisticsforlarge-scalerestorationandreconstructionprojects.Thisisahands-on,growth-orientedrolethatincludestravelingtoprojectsites,stagingandtransportingequipment,settingupgeneratorsandtemporarypower,andassistingwithday-to-daywarehouseoperations.ItisanexcellentopportunityforsomeonewithlimitedexperiencewhoiseagertolearnlogisticsandwarehouseoperationsunderthedirectionoftheWarehouse/LogisticsManagerandtakeonincreasingresponsibilityovertime.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• AssisttheWarehouse/LogisticsManagerinplanningandcoordinatinglogisticsforlargeprojects.
• Traveltoprojectsites,locallyandoutofarea,tosupportmobilization,setup,staging,anddemobilization.
• Load,transport,stage,andtrackequipment,generators,andmaterialstoandfromjobsites.
• Setup,fuel,andmonitorgeneratorsandtemporarypowerdistributionatprojectsites.
• Setupandbreakdownequipment,stagingareas,andsitelogisticsforlarge-lossprojects.
• Receive,unload,inspect,sort,label,andorganizeinventoryinthewarehouse.
• Maintainaccurateinventoryandequipmentrecords.
• Ensurecleanlinessandorganizationofthewarehouse,equipment,andcompanyvehicles.
• Operatewarehouseequipmentsuchasforkliftsandpalletjacks(trainingprovided).
• Performroutinechecksonequipment,generators,andvehiclesandreportmaintenanceneeds.
• Assistwithloadingandunloadingcompanyvehiclesandstockingsupplies.
• Followallsafetyguidelinesandcompanypolicies.
• LearnlogisticsandwarehouseprocessesunderthedirectionoftheWarehouse/LogisticsManager.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• Entry-levelrole;limitedexperiencerequired,butastrongwillingnesstolearnisessential.

• MustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyintheUnitedStatesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw.

PHYSICALDEMANDS

• Regularlylifting50poundsindependentlyandoccasionallyliftingupto100poundswithassistance.

• Handling,positioning,andfuelinggeneratorsandheavyequipment.
• Walkingandstandingforlongperiods,aswellasdriving,sitting,andclimbingladders.

• Operatingwarehouseequipmentsuchasforklifts,palletjacks,andhandtrucks.
• Frequentexposuretofumesandairborneparticles;occasionalexposuretoheat,cold,noxiousodors,andotherextremeconditions.
• Thenoiselevelinthewarehouseandatjobsitesmaybeloud.
• Requiredtooccasionallyweararespiratorandotherpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE).

JobType:

• Full-Time,upto40hoursperweek.

Salary

$22-$25/hour,pendingexperience.
