SERVPRO-TeamSPG is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Crew Chief for water restoration in Cumming, GA. The role leads mitigation crews on water, fire, and mold projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the mitigation crew on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation projects.
• Perform and supervise water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and remediation production work.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and document moisture readings and daily progress.
• Manage and complete jobs per SERVPRO processes and per work orders; monitor from start to finish.
• Respond to service calls and coordinate requirements for each job; establish efficient job flow.

JOBDESCRIPTION

TheWaterRestorationLeadTechnician/AssistantProjectManagerleadsamitigationcrewinwater,fire,andmoldremediationprojects,ensuringworkisperformedsafely,efficiently,andtoindustrystandardswhiledeliveringexcellentcustomerservice.

PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadanddirectthemitigationcrewonwater,fire,smoke,andmoldremediationprojects.
• Performandsupervisewaterextraction,structuraldrying,demolition,andremediationproductionwork.
• Setupandmonitordryingequipmentandaccuratelydocumentmoisturereadingsanddailyprogress.
• ManageandcompletejobsaccordingtoSERVPROprocessesperworkorder,monitoringassignedjobsfromstarttofinish.
• Respondtoservicecalls,setupandestablishefficientjobflow,andcoordinatetherequirementsforeachjob.
• Communicateclearexpectationstoproductiontechniciansandsupervisetheiractivitiesandqualityofwork.
• Explainprocessesandanswercustomerquestions,establishingrelationshipswithcommercial,insurance,andresidentialcustomers.
• Monitor,communicate,andrespondtocustomerneedsandconcernstoensurecustomersatisfaction.
• Maintaincontinuouscommunicationwithinternalparties,includingtheJobFileCoordinatorandmanagement.
• Identifysafetyhazards,communicatethem,andestablishcontrolmeasurestoensurethesafetyofoccupantsandworkers.
• Followandenforceallsafetyproceduresonthejobsite.
• Resolveproblemsquicklyastheyarise.

POSITIONREQUIREMENTS

• Highschooldiploma/GEDrequired.
• 1-3yearsofwater/firemitigationexperience.

• Knowledgeofdryingequipmentandmoisturedocumentation.
• Validdriver'slicenseandstrongcustomerserviceskills,required.
• Mustbeabletoworkinpersonandtraveltojobsitesasneeded.Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-callrotation.
• MustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyintheUnitedStatesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw.
