Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a detail-oriented dispatcher support clerk to assist with local and road deliveries, manifest creation, and billing. You will coordinate with Service Centers, track shipments, and help resolve OS&D issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, MS Word/Excel skills, and the ability to work with AS400. Night or alternate schedules may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge across customer care, OS&D, billing, tracing, and dispatching.
• Computer skills; MS Word and Excel proficiency required.
• AS400 experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create freight manifest lists using applicable coding.
• Assist dispatcher with assigning drivers for local and road delivery activities.
• Maintain city dispatch sheet and advise drivers on issues.
• Coordinate Line Haul drivers via the computer system and phone with Service Centers.
• Schedule, track, trace, and bill freight activities.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and train when needed.
• Maintain OS&D records and respond to discrepancies.
