Qualifications

• Computer skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel
• AS400 experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Good clerical skills
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication and listen skills
• Ability to proceed on regular tasks with occasional direction
• Must have the ability to solve problems where solutions are standard and defined
• Experience in the transportation industry a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones with a heavy call volume and direct calls accurately
• Maintain count list of items received or shipped and verify against bills
• Prepare OS&D paperwork and repackaging
• Maintain records and report freight issues to management
• Coordinate delivery times with customers for freight
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide proof of delivery
