Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Coordinator in New Haven, IN to support the pickup and delivery area, coordinating quality, service and admin functions while dispatching linehaul equipment per the plan to minimize costs and ensure service integrity.

You will monitor daily metrics, work with BC/AOs, ICs and ISPs, address customer issues, and maintain DOT paperwork and equipment records, with AM shift 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication with diverse audiences
• Ability to read and interpret numerical data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web apps
• Knowledge of transportation regulations including DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily service, safety, cost and quality metrics and investigate issues
• Coordinate with BC/AOs, ICs and ISPs on load plan changes and update systems
• Investigate customer service complaints and resolve with customers
• Escalate unresolved issues to management
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and ensure DOT compliance
• Create and maintain files for equipment and insurance/maintenance
• Manage driver paperwork per DOT regulations
• Coordinate dispatch of linehaul equipment and log events
• Investigate delays/accidents and implement contingency plans
• May conduct driver training or audits
• Perform other duties as assigned
