Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate quality, service, and administrative functions within the pickup and delivery area. The role focuses on dispatch of transportation equipment to follow the Linehaul plan, maintain DOT compliance, and ensure service integrity.

The position requires strong communication with BC/AOs and ICs, accurate metric reporting, and the ability to investigate and resolve customer service issues while supporting a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred in business/logistics.
• Administrative support or dock operations experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to read, interpret, and draw conclusions from numerical data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily service, safety, cost and quality metrics; investigate issues.
• Communicate with BC/AOs and adjust load plans in Vision/VRP.
• Resolve customer service complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate dispatch of linehaul equipment and log dispatch events.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and DOT compliance.
• Assist in corrective action plans for BCSA findings.
• Participate in driver training and other duties as assigned.
