Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priority lists.
• Previous transportation and/or DOT experience helpful.
• Able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in environments with variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serves external and internal customers on a regular basis.
• Coordinates scheduling of orders with carriers (internal, external, brokerage).
• Manages shipment queue and priority lists.
• Provides load and/or order tracking and makes adjustments as needed.
• Repowers loads when carriers fall off and covers expedited orders.
• Communicates daily with all parties about potential service issues or delays.
• Compiles data for daily reports.
• Transmits carrier information to customers to expedite future orders.
• Coordinates appointments with customers and acts as liaison among operations, carriers, and customers.
