Job summary

The Logistics Coordinator role at NFI in Williamsburg, VA directs the Dedicated Fleet operation and assists the Project Manager with daily needs. You will handle load planning, driver scheduling, dispatch tasks, and keep drivers and customers informed.

You’ll enter data in NFI’s order-management system (TMW), coordinate with invoicing, and produce weekly KPI reports for internal and external stakeholders. Strong multitasking, customer service, and communication skills are essential, along with

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience with MS Office and TMW strongly desired.
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and multitask.
• Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers.
• Provides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments.
• Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties.
• Coordinates daily data entry into NFI’s order-management-system, TMW.
• Coordinates with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate invoices.
• Ensures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
• Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports to internal and external parties.
• Coordinates daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance.
• Works with safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues.
• Assists Project Manager with Safety, Security and Labor policies.
• Assists and provides coverage during vacations or holidays.
• Manages and maintains driver payroll and audits expense reports.
• Provides assistance to Project Manager wherever needed.
