Job summary

Saia Motor Freight Line LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Clerical and Customer Service Associate to support terminal operations. You will prepare, print, scan, and organize shipment documentation and assist with paperwork, recordkeeping and routine service requests to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include handling inbound calls and emails, coordinating dock pickups and deliveries, assisting drivers, and ensuring accuracy before dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language to perform tasks and communicate with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, prints, scans, and organizes documentation for terminal operations and dispatch.
• Maintains accurate filing and recordkeeping systems for shipments and terminal records.
• Bundles and distributes paperwork for outbound shipments in coordination with operations staff.
• Reviews outbound load paperwork to ensure accuracy before dispatch.
• Handles inbound calls and emails to provide timely resolution and a positive customer experience.
• Arranges dock pickups and dock drops for customers in coordination with operations staff.
• Provides assistance and support to internal and external drivers for the line haul department.
• Identifies paperwork or process issues, escalating as needed to prevent delays, and assists with administrative projects or special tasks as assigned.
