Job summary

Saia Inc. is seeking an experienced account executive to grow our client base in a defined territory.

You will drive revenue by securing new accounts, understanding client objectives, and tailoring logistics solutions through collaboration with operations and internal partners. The role requires proactive prospecting, strategic negotiations, and ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new clients in assigned territory to grow revenue.
• Understand client objectives and propose tailored logistics and transportation solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, service center, and internal teams to deliver quality service and retain customers.
• Develop client growth and retention plans for a profitable book of business.
• Lead contract negotiations and close sales to meet targets.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals to key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and document interactions.
• Monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities.
