Job summary

Saia Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to develop and manage client relationships within an assigned territory. You will identify business opportunities in logistics and transportation, proposing tailored B2B solutions to increase revenue and retention.

You will collaborate with operations and internal partners to ensure quality service, deliver persuasive proposals, and drive contract negotiations to exceed performance targets. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Able to develop client growth and retention plans and present proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prospects and secures new clients in assigned territory to drive revenue growth.
• Understands client objectives and proposes tailored logistics solutions.
• Collaborates with operations and internal partners to deliver quality service and retain customers.
• Leads negotiations and closes sales to exceed targets.
• Prepares compelling proposals and presentations for key stakeholders.
• Maintains CRM records of client interactions and forecasts.
