Job summary

Saia, Inc. is seeking a results-driven outside sales professional to grow our client base in logistics solutions.

You will develop relationships, identify opportunities, and drive revenue with B2B customers, leveraging market insights and strong negotiation skills. The role requires 2+ years outside sales experience in freight or LTL, familiarity with Salesforce, and the ability to manage a pipeline and present compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in a B2B environment preferred.
• Experience selling freight or LTL logistics is a plus.
• Ability to build and manage client relationships and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new clients in an assigned territory to drive revenue growth.
• Understand client objectives and propose tailored logistics solutions.
• Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop client growth and retention plans for a profitable book of business.
• Lead contract negotiations and close sales to exceed targets.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions.
