Corpay is hiring a Project Specialist for its Lodging line of business in Lexington, KY. The role centers on researching hotel options, negotiating, and booking 11–44 night reservations while maintaining strong client and hotel relationships.

You will communicate via phone and email to ensure adherence to Lodging policies and client guidelines. The position emphasizes proactive reservation management, rate negotiations, and a deep understanding of regional hotel markets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of previous related experience
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems at a high level through critical thinking
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and deliver superior service with a high degree of accuracy
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and navigating the internet
• Excellent personal interaction, communication, and phone skills along with a high degree of initiative, individual responsibility, ownership, and commitment to providing the highest level of customer service
• Be available for on-call rotations, which may fall outside of regular scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

• Manage reservation requests for 11+ nights to fulfill customer needs and ensure satisfaction
• Use decision-making skills to find hotel options that fit client guidelines
• Communicate with clients and hotels via phone and email per Lodging policies
• Provide high-quality reservations and lodging options to clients
• Complete negotiations on stays 11+ nights following policies
• Secure rates, discounts, and RFP agreements with hotel partners
• Use knowledge of the hotel industry and regional markets for client needs
• Reserve accommodations aligned with client guidelines (per diem, amenities, mileage, etc.)
• Identify and resolve client and hotel issues
• Manage client and hotel communications regarding extensions, early departures, and modifications
• Meet or exceed all client deadlines
• Consult with clients to determine and recommend suitable lodging options
• Attend all training sessions, meetings, and events as assigned
• Perform other duties to support operations and client service
