Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks energetic TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site teams at TurboTax locations nationwide.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, deliver expert guidance, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping and payroll services. You’ll engage with local communities to grow client relationships, participate in events, and ensure exceptional customer experiences both in person and via TurboTax tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete required training and development; uniforms; advertising using name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling a range of tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local client base.
• Bridge clients with the Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll and financial planning services.
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experiences through in-person and virtual interactions.
