Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks on‑site TurboTax Local Service Experts to serve in our TurboTax locations nationwide. You will provide full‑service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support, while coordinating with a team of specialists to deliver a seamless, end‑to‑end Intuit experience.

You will grow the local client base, attend events, and build long‑term relationships with customers, offering personalised tax guidance and leveraging Intuit resources to expand services beyond filing.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on Google.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimise tax liabilities, maximise refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalised everyday language.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Organise and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop‑ups, and networking gatherings with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships - develop long‑term trust and convert new prospects into loyal clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure clients meet their financial goals with professional, empathetic service.
