Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a on-site TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice for diverse clients. You will coordinate with a broader team to deliver end-to-end services, including planning and potential referrals to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory offerings.

The role emphasizes local market growth, client relationship building, and delivering a premium customer experience using Intuit tools and marketing support.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes by law.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040s per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite work at a TurboTax location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with additional Intuit services like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and assist clients in navigating tax challenges.
• Engage with customers both in-person and via Intuit video tools to support ongoing relationships.
