Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite, providing hands-on tax preparation and advisory services to individuals and small businesses. You will collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences, while actively growing a local client base and community presence.

The role emphasizes personal connections, high-quality service, and ongoing training to expand offerings beyond basic tax filing, including bookkeeping and payroll services

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training and cross-training of other products.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising with your name and picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow TurboTax client base within the local community through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Act as a trusted guide by connecting clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience in person and via digital channels.
• Collaborate with a network of specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit services.
