Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals for TurboTax Local Service Expert roles at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert guidance, and software support while engaging with local communities to grow clientele. You will work onsite, collaborating with a team of specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end solutions for personal and small business needs.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business... and professional development. Training requirements may change.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising on goggles.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Identify and pursue local growth prospects, organize community events, and build a local client base.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and convert new prospects into loyal clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional service and support for clients’ financial goals.
• Work onsite at a TurboTax location and use Intuit tools to assist customers effectively.
