Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team, working onsite at TurboTax locations in the United States. You will provide hands‑on tax preparation and expert guidance for personal and business scenarios while developing a local client base.

The role emphasizes end‑to‑end service, collaboration with specialists, and community engagement. Responsibilities include building relationships, growing the local TurboTax footprint, and leveraging Intuit resources

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embod[y] a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward.
• Build Relationships - Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns and build the long‑term trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a loyal, multi‑year relationship.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
