Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a local office in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, completing preparation for clients and helping grow the local TurboTax business through community events.

This role emphasizes customer service, local outreach, and collaboration with Intuit resources to support clients year-round. You will engage with the community and deliver tax solutions that align with Intuit’s mission.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA or practicing attorney with tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Must be onsite at TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and allow name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax Expert presence.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to maximize deductions and refunds and provide future tax planning advice.
• Build a local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and community partnerships.
• Organize local events like financial literacy workshops and networking meetings with TurboTax marketing support.
• Act as a trusted guide to connect clients with Intuit solutions and related services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
• Address client inquiries and help resolve tax-related challenges.
