Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to deliver on-site tax preparation and advisory services at dedicated TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will work with a team of financial professionals to serve both in-person and virtual clients, guiding them through personal and business tax scenarios with clarity and care. You’ll grow a local client base, partner with marketing resources, and stay connected with the Intuit ecosystem to offer complementary services like

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising with consent.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in plain language.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a new local client base and own your market through outreach and partnerships.
• Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings with marketing support.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' complete financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, addressing inquiries and helping with tax-related challenges.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism to build long-term trust and client loyalty.
