Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax expertise and end-to-end support at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will handle complex and straightforward tax scenarios, grow the local client base, and collaborate with other Intuit specialists to offer bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services. This role emphasizes relationship-building and delivering a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships and ensure long-term trust with clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual interactions.
