Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax prep and expert tax advice at a TurboTax location. You will engage with clients, conduct discovery sessions, and coordinate with specialists to cover business and personal tax needs, while building local relationships and growing the client base.

You will work onsite, serve both in-person and virtual customers, and participate in local events to enhance TurboTax’s presence in the community.

Qualifications

• Active professional tax credential (EA, CPA, or Attorney) with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete training and comply with company requirements.
• Willing to wear Intuit-provided uniform and use name for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan taxes.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
• Collaborate with specialists to delivery end-to-end Intuit service.
