Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert guidance, and connect clients with a broader team to deliver end-to-end Intuit services.

In this role, you will build local relationships, drive customer growth, and help clients navigate complex tax scenarios while leveraging TurboTax marketing tools and resources for community engagement.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships with TurboTax marketing tools.
• Connect clients to complementary Intuit services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
