Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to join on-site TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, personalized advice, and engage with local clients to grow the TurboTax community.

As a trusted guide, you’ll collaborate with specialists to address complex tax scenarios, build long-term relationships, and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience using Intuit tools and marketing support. This on-site role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador and grow a local TurboTax client base.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Build relationships to turn one-time transactions into long-term client partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, client-focused service.
