Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to join our on-site TurboTax locations across the United States.

You’ll provide expert tax advice, prepare returns, and partner with a team of specialists to deliver a seamless client experience for individuals and small businesses. You’ll grow the local TurboTax client base, engage with the community through events, and connect clients to Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for minimum 20 hours/week.
• Willingness to complete training and development as required by the business.
• Willingness to wear Intuit uniforms; use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Help grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach and community partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in person and via Intuit video tools.
