Job summary

Intuit is hiring year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to serve customers at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide tax expertise, complete tax preparation, and act as a trusted advisor to help clients optimize refunds and plan for future taxes.

You will cultivate a local presence through outreach, community events, and partnerships, while promoting Intuit solutions and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, minimum 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and wear Intuit provided uniforms and be photographed for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Use government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a new local customer base.
• Own your market by outreach, grassroots marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
• Lead local events such as financial literacy workshops and networking gatherings.
• Introduce clients to complementary Intuit services to address their needs.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
