Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States. You’ll provide tax expertise, complete preparation, and act as a trusted advisor to help customers achieve positive financial outcomes.

You’ll build a local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships, educating customers about Intuit solutions, and delivering a best-in-class experience both in person and via remote tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Peak periods may increase hours.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and cross-training of other products.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Act as a community ambassador to build a local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Represent TurboTax as the local face, converting prospects into long-term clients and engaging with the community.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in person and via Intuit video tools, addressing inquiries and helping with tax challenges.
